　　Grip Inc. was the band formed by Slayer drummer D酸液宜界种出盐ave Lombardo shortly after his initial depa指必厂席线费吸协rture from that band, teaming up with former Desp观秋air guita伟重程溶构固局然发rist (and noted 去杆producer) Waldemar Sorychta. Far from the Slayer clone some might have expected, the band evolved into an ultra早-heavy late-nineties thrash band in the mold of early Machine Head, with a shade of Neurosis atmospherics and yes, the occasiona比业还示试功密响般拉配l Slayer influence (more so on the e真伤差剂团四arlier albums).

　　Grip Inc. 是Slayer乐队的前鼓手Dave Lombardo离队后不久建立的。他和一个失落的吉他手(同时又是著名的制作人)Waldemar Sorychta建立了这个乐队。1993年签约SPV Records 公司。

　　也许有些人认为他们只是另一支Slayer。但他们却错了。乐队开始的雏形是Machine Head ，是一支九十年代末期的极端金属乐队。他们的音乐中深受Neurosis , Atmospherics 和 Yes的影响。在他们早期的一些专辑中还能见到Slayer的影响。

　　2004年，乐队制作了五年的首张大碟《Incorporated》发行了。尽管他们仍保留硬核风格，但是能很清楚的感到乐队已开始渐渐开始走自己的路。他们在专辑中加入了一些有趣的乐器音效。影响已经扩大到最基础的 post-thrash风格了。《Incorporated》是其巅峰之作，是风格最与众不同的一张专辑。而随着Dave完全回归Slayer乐队，Grip Inc.的前景又变得飘忽不定了。
